Mum is wearing one of her antique Black Velvet dresses she used to wear to parties
bought for nothing in the early 1960’s in Edinburgh. This dress conjures up my
memories of her beauty, her excitement, her perfume and the velvet touch of her
dress as she would bend down to kiss us good night before she went out dressed in
her glamour.
