The Lionesses where seen by over 17million people around the world winning the Euros in 2022. The magic for me wasn’t just being part of the record breaking crowd at Wembley, witnessing them lift the trophy, but in the journey by the fans and the legacy that they have created for the future. For the young girls going to watch more football games, to teenage girls playing in the street, for more coaching opportunities for women. The Euros have been a victory for all in women in sport.
